Community Relations

At South Providence School we are very fortunate to have the support of some truly gifted and wonderful people who live and work in Union County.

Waxhaw-Weddington Rotary The Waxhaw-Weddington Sunrise Rotary Club has been highly supportive of South Providence School and has provided uniforms and books for the students and staff. They are also working on re-doing the outdoor basketball court by installing new basketball goals.

Thank you to Glenstone Chapel for their generous donation of books for the Library and English classrooms. Glenstone Chapel is also creating a reading area in the media center and providing new furniture for this area. Glenstone Chapel also took 8 of our students shopping at Christmas. Thank you Glenstone Chapel for all your support of South Providence School and our students!

Thank you to Kevin Marko, a senior at Marvin Ridge High School who is doing his Eagle Scout project on our school grounds and plans on building benches for the school grounds.

Thank you Harris Teeter and Moe's for donations to SPS!

Thank you Marvin Ridge Middle for adopting South Providence School's staff during teacher appreciation days!
